Okay, I was brought up on word games. As far as I am concerned, word games rule! I wasn’t that big a fan of crossword puzzles, but you can’t keep me away from a good game of Boggle or Scrabble. I’m not the best Scrabble player in the world by any means, but I can hold my own with most people. How did I get interested in Scrabble and other word games? My Grandma. She would play Boggle and Scrabble with me when I was little, except it was a little different than other kids’ Grandmas played. She would destroy me. She’d have like 350 points to my 29. Her motto was “you’re not going to learn anything if I let you win.” I think she was right. Thanks Grandma!
