I’d like to chime in on the age old battle of who is hotter, ginger or Mary Ann. First, the degree of hotness for both of the 1960s television babes is extremely high. Both women had their niche and filled it rather admirably. But, on with the battle.

My Opinion: Ginger vs Mary Ann

Raw Sexuality
Ginger’s raw sexuality trumps Mary Ann’s quite easily. If you’re after “one thing” on a date and you look at these two beauties, there is no question that you are asking Ginger out. Score: Ginger 1, Mary Ann 0.

Status
Again, this category is quite easily taken by Ginger. When your reputation is on the line, your high profile dating of a movie star over the girl next door will definitely spread the word and make the paparazzi follow you. Score: Ginger 2, Mary Ann 0.

Romance
The pure romance of dating the epitome of the Girl Next Door far outshines dating the movie star. While on a date with Mary Ann you can envision getting lost in her wide eyes, while on a date with Ginger you would be forced to think how much of her emotions are based on her “incredible” acting skills. Score: Ginger 2, Mary Ann 1.

Degree of Difficulty
Ginger takes another category as it is much harder to pull off Ginger’s life of designer gowns and high heeled shoes on the sand covered island than the life of Mary Ann whose wardrobe is good for both a roll in the hay and the doing of some farm chores. Score: Ginger 3, Mary Ann 1.

Jealousy
Few things damage a relationship faster than the green eyed monster that is jealousy. While both girls are extremely attractive, being involved in a relationship with Ginger means dealing with her constant on-screen love making co-stars and rabid fans. Score: Ginger 3, Mary Ann 2.

Wardrobe
While Ginger’s designer gowns exude sexiness in an obvious way, there are few looks that can top the wholesome farm girl attire worn regularly by Mary Ann. Score: Ginger 3, Mary Ann 3.

Long Term Relationship
The odds of being involved with Ginger long term and surviving are not good, we all know about Hollywood relationships. It is much easier to look at Mary Ann and see a lifetime commitment being fulfilled successfully. Score: Ginger 3, Mary Ann 4.

Personality
Both women are very nice with each having many good qualities. The nature of Ginger’s chosen profession makes her a bit more vain and shows her world is a little bit more all about her. Even casual observation of Mary Ann allows one to think that if he were involved with her, she would do anything for her man. Score: Ginger 3, Mary Ann 5.

Allure
As previously stated, both women are extremely hot in their own way. When it comes to the each girl’s alluring qualities it is a close race. Ginger is quite fetching with her curve hugging sequin-covered gowns. The thought of holding her in your arms is enticing indeed. But, sometimes it is the less obvious package that gets our attention. There isn’t a red-blooded American guy around who at one time or another didn’t try to picture Mary Ann out of those short-shorts and midriff baring country shirt. Score: Ginger 3, Mary Ann 6.

After quantitative scientific analysis of nine factors, it is proven once again that Mary Ann is more desirable than Ginger. Not to say Ginger would get kicked out of bed for any reason at all, just that Mary Ann has that certain something.
