Britney Spears appeared in a small cameo role on the successful TV show ‘How I Met Your Mother’ last night. Most reviews are pretty positive and I would have to agree. I’ve been as critical of Britney Spears as anyone and continue to say that the girl doesn’t deserve much sympathy, but this as opposed to everything else she has done in the last two years was probably a good career move. It wasn’t a huge part, but showed she had a sense of humor about herself. It wasn’t like she walked on and insisted on playing a pop star… she was a quirky receptionist. The inside joke that was shared between her character and the character of Barney at the end of the show actually played well and was pretty funny.

Good job Britney… ugh, never thought I’d be typing that.
