Anyone who has consistently read this blog knows that I am a big believer in environmentally positive products and issues. I am not some sort of eco guerrilla who runs around hugging trees, but I truly believe that many environmental movements or beliefs are just smart. Alternative fuels are smart. Cleaning up the air that we breathe is smart. Manufacturing items with ingredients that are good for the environment is also smart.

Plastic is bad for the environment. Many of us have had that drummed into our heads since we were young, but… it’s no longer true. HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) is by definition plastic, but it can also be recycled. Many products are currently made of HDPE and have proven successful in their marketplace. There are environmentally smart companies out there like Raw Polymers Ltd that work with HDPE. Using HDPE is just plain smart.
