Okay, here is the thing. I understand that it is a global economy these days, and I have no problem with that. I actually think it is a good thing. This isn’t about that, this is about an odd thing that happened the other day.
I brought home a new Superman action figure for my little boy, he’s a Superman fanatic after all. After some intense playing with his new super hero friend, the small rubber piece that connected the cape to the action figure broke. Not a fault of the product, more the fault of a little boy, I’m sure. So, I went back to the same store and bought some Super Glue on my next trip there. Fixed it and it looks as good as new. It then happened that I saw the “Made in China” stamp on the Super Glue package, I wondered about the action figure… sure enough “Made in China” too. So, I spent money on a product made in China that I used to repair a product I had bought earlier that was also made in China.
It truly is a global economy… kind of.
