Halloween is getting closer and there are a few things that are coming our way… candy and costumes. We always fall for the same old candy trap, buy it early as soon as it appears on the shelves of the grocery store. Sure enough, none of us can wait the whole month until Halloween and we end up munching away on candy that we shouldn’t be eating.

We also have a family tradition that involves our extended relatives, a costume party. The costume party is a great way for everyone to interact and have fun. This year, our plan is to all go as a themed family. My two boys both want to dress up as a superhero, so that is what we all are going to do. My wife will be Wonder Woman, I’ll be the Incredible Hulk, son number one will be The Flash, and the youngest will be Captain America.
